Check Engine · A free check by Pintor Project

The software you built has no check-engine light. We give it one.

A free check for companies that built their own tools with AI or a freelancer. Ten questions any manager can answer, with no access to your systems.

Does your business depend on software nobody is responsible for?

Pick one tool your company built, or paid someone to build. Answer ten questions about it. You'll see which lights are on and what to do this week.

Three states, the same as in your car.

Off
Nothing turned up in your answers.
Steady
Get it looked at soon. It isn't urgent yet.
Flashing
Deal with it before more of the business rides on it.

A light tells you where to look. It never tells you a tool is safe.

AI gave everyone a car. Nobody took driving lessons.

Building software used to start with a quote, a contract and a supplier. They forced the questions: who owns it, where the data lives, and who answers when it breaks.

AI removed all three, so the questions stopped being asked. The cost isn't the problem. The risk is, and it arrives later.

  1. Week 1

“It works, and it cost almost nothing.” Everyone is impressed.

  2. Month 6

Sales runs on it now. Client data goes in every day.

  3. Month 14

The freelancer moves on. The hosting account is in their name.

  4. Month 18

A client asks who can see their data. Nobody in the company can answer.

A made-up composite, not a real company.

After the check

We suggest the smallest next step that fits what you found. Sometimes that means nothing to buy.

Nothing to buy
If the engine light is off and little rides on the tool, we say so. Check again in six months.
Build Right
For tools your business is starting to rely on. The kit makes your builder's AI ask the right questions before it builds. The register shows every tool, its owner and its lights, with a monthly report. Group sessions cover owners and builders.
Signed review
For a tool with a flashing light. A person reads the code and explains what it means for your company. You get findings in plain language, not a certificate.
Pintor solutions
When a gap is something we build or sell, we say so openly. You can choose anyone to fix it.

We check and report. We don't guarantee.

  • We never take over code we haven't reviewed.
  • A light that's off means nothing turned up in your answers. It isn't a safety certificate.
  • Your company stays responsible for its data and its decisions. We show you what we find.

Questions

Do you need access to our systems?

No. The check asks only what a manager can answer. Nothing connects to your tools.

Who sees my answers?

Pintor Project keeps your details and answers to follow up with you about your result. We don't sell or share them. If you join the study, a separate copy of your answers is kept without your name, email or the tool's name, and only totals are published.

Is this a security assessment?

No. A questionnaire can't see code. It finds something a manager understands better: software the business depends on, with nobody responsible for it.

Why is it free?

Most companies have never been asked these questions. Some results point to a service of ours, and when they do, we say so.

Can I check more than one tool?

Yes. Run the check once for each tool.
